Open Access Publishing Agreement with Springer

All Springer Hybrid journals are eligible. Springer’s fully Open Access journals, including Springer Nature, are NOT eligible. For details, see Springer’s list of eligible journals.

Corresponding authors who are affiliated with Purdue University-West Lafayette, Purdue Northwest, and Purdue Fort Wayne are eligible for free Open Access publishing under this agreement.

The corresponding author is the person who handles the manuscript and correspondence during the publication process. The corresponding author has the authority to act on behalf of all co-authors in all matters pertaining to publication of the manuscript.

Original papers, review papers, brief communications, and continuing education papers.

To ensure Springer’s system recognizes you as eligible for the agreement, you should take at least one of the following 3 actions: (1) Use your Purdue email address when you submit your manuscript; (2) List Purdue University as your institutional affiliate; or (3) Submit your manuscript from a Purdue IP address.
