Any corresponding author or contributing author who is affiliated with Purdue University-West Lafayette, Purdue Fort Wayne, or Purdue Northwest is covered under this agreement.

There is no cost to corresponding authors who are affiliated with Purdue University. For manuscripts submitted to PLOS Biology, PLOS Medicine, and PLOS Sustainability and Transformation, there is no cost if the corresponding author of the manuscript is affiliated with another institution member of PLOS Community Action Publishing (CAP). If you are a contributing author and the corresponding author is not affiliated with an institutional member of PLOS CAP, the corresponding author will receive 25% discount on the APC.

This agreement covers articles published in 12 PLOS journals: PLOS Biology, PLOS Climate, PLOS Computational Biology, PLOS Digital Health, PLOS Genetics, PLOS Global Public Health, PLOS Medicine, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases, PLOS ONE, PLOS Pathogens, PLOS Sustainability and Transformation, PLOS Water, PLOS Mental Health, and PLOS Complex Systems.

No. This agreement includes articles for publication in PLOS journals that have been authored by Purdue University affiliated corresponding authors through the length of the agreement.

PURR is an institutional data repository that allows Purdue researchers to publish up to 1 GB of data free of charge (10 GB for externally supported programs, please contact PURR for details). PURR is compliant with PLoS Repository Inclusion Criteria. PURR uses open licenses permitting free and unrestricted use of the deposited data and adheres to best practices pertaining to responsible sharing, sustainable digital preservation, proper citation, as well as to openness. You must properly self-identify during submission to be recognized as eligible. Use your Purdue email account upon submission of your manuscript. Funding approval for PLOS Biology, PLOS Medicine, and PLOS Sustainability and Transformation is automatic, as long as authors use their Purdue email account upon submission. Other journals may require an additional institutional identification step.
