Purdue Library of Science
Purdue University Libraries and School of Information Studies have entered into an Unlimited Publishing Agreement with the Public Library of Science, through a partnership between PLOS, the Center for Research Libraries, and NorthEast Research Libraries. This agreement provides authors at Purdue University-West Lafayette, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Purdue Northeast with unlimited publishing in all 12 PLOS journals without incurring fees, beginning April 1, 2022.
In January, 2021, the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) and the Public Library of Science (PLOS) entered into an agreement for BTAA members to participate in PLOS’ Community Action Publishing (CAP) program, allowing BTAA researchers to publish in PLOS Biology and PLOS Medicine. The new Unlimited Publishing Agreement expands upon this previous package, providing unlimited, no-fee publishing for Purdue corresponding authors in 12 PLOS journals: PLOS Biology, PLOS Climate, PLOS Computational Biology, PLOS Digital Health, PLOS Genetics, PLOS Global Public Health, PLOS Medicine, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases, PLOS ONE, PLOS Pathogens, PLOS Sustainability and Transformation, PLOS Water, PLOS Mental Health, and PLOS Complex Systems.
