Purdue Federal Credit Union Endowment Fund

Purdue Federal Credit Union has provided support for the advancement of Purdue Libraries since 1994. This endowed fund funded the annual “Why I Love Libraries” video contest, various financial literacy workshops and seminars, hosted lectures, and numerous other activities and events that would not have been possible without the generosity of the Purdue Federal Credit Union.

Purdue University Employees Credit Union was founded in 1969 by a group of university employees. They wanted a place where they, their families, and fellow employees could save and borrow money safely, confidentially, and at a fair rate of interest. Over the years, the financial institution went through several name changes, becoming Purdue Federal Credit Union in 2010. Headquartered in West Lafayette, branches and services are located throughout the Greater Lafayette, Crown Point, and La Porte communities. Purdue Federal is committed to building stronger communities and has stayed true to its original purpose—people helping people.
