Whether you’re just dropping by or conducting several days of research, this page will help you get to and around the Purdue University Archives and Special Collections.

Please remember, if you are visiting as a researcher, appointments must be made two business days in advance, see Conducting Research. If you are interested in donating materials, please contact the Archives and Special Collections in advance, archives@purdue.edu.

Location and Parking

The Purdue University Archives and Special Collections is located on the 4^th floor of the Humanities, Social Science and Education (HSSE) Library, inside the Stewart Center building.

Archives Address: 128 Memorial Mall, West Lafayette IN, 47907

The closest parking garage is the Grant Street Garage across from the Purdue Memorial Union. Disability parking spaces are available at this garage and is about a 10-minute walk from the Archives.

Additional metered and permit disability parking spaces are located near Stewart Center on Oval Drive. Temporary parking spaces (20 minutes or less) are available on Oval Drive outside of Stewart Center.

Directions

Take the elevator to the 4^th floor of the HSSE Library or Stewart Center and follow the signage to the Archives.

The Purdue University Campus map will help you locate Stewart Center. Accessible entry ways can be viewed by clicking on the “Layers” icon in the top right corner.
