Dissertation and Theses
Due to copyright, we cannot provide electronic copies of dissertations or theses unless they are available through our Open Access Collections.
We can provide physical copies of a dissertation as a loan. We cannot loan a physical copy of a dissertation or thesis if it is the original or only copy of the item.
Annual Reports
As of Jan 13, 2025, Annual Reports are unavailable for loaning or scanning.
Purdue University Libraries will no longer loan Annual Reports, but items are available for scanning or onsite use at Archives and Special Collections. Contact our Interlibrary Loan department to coordinate viewing of volumes.
Requests for scans are submitted electronically to our software, ILLiad. We charge $15.00 (or one(1) IFLA voucher) per copy. Requests must be facilitated library to library. We cannot send directly to an individual.
Our items are not cataloged in OCLC. Please submit a request with the full company’s name, the year requested, and the title of the item you are requesting to be scanned. Each year should be a separate request. Please manually add our symbol, IPL, to the lending string. Please include the symbol at least twice to ensure the request does not expire before we can fulfill it.
For more information on our Annual Reports, please see:
ILLiad Lending Logon (for non-OCLC Libraries)
If you have already been in contact with us about requesting our materials through ILLiad, please login to ILLiad to place requests. If you have forgotten your username and/or password and you no longer have access to the email we sent to you with this information, please contact us and we can assist.

Any Institution that fails to return material within 90 days past the due date will be billed $100.00 for the replacement cost of each item. Institutions returning material within 180 days of the billing date will receive a credit/refund for the replacement cost. We may accept replacement copies in lieu of an invoice; please contact us for assistance before sending a replacement copy.
