About the Library

The Aviation Technology Library is located in the Purdue University Airport Terminal. The library serves as Purdue’s resource for aviation information and supports the teaching and research activities of the Department of Aviation Technology. The Library contains many aviation repair and maintenance manuals, government documents, and instructional videos and software programs. The collection includes over 4,000 book and journal volumes to support the department’s programs: Aeronautical Engineering Technology, Aviation Management Technology, and Professional Flight Technology. Subject areas covered by these programs include aircraft design, maintenance, manufacturing, air traffic control, airport management, airline operations, and flight training.
